Sandy Baker joined the office of Research Integrity and Assurance in August 2018 to fill the role of post-approval monitoring compliance for the IACUC, IBC, and IRB. He received a BS in Biology from Saint Joseph’s University and earned his Master’s degree in Laboratory Animal Science from Drexel University. Sandy has worked in the field of veterinary medicine since 2001, working in general veterinary care practices through completion of his masters, and then as a laboratory technician and assistant scientist for 8 years in a research lab at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.  He is a member of DVB AALAS and was the recipient of the Harry Rozmiarek-Technician Author Support Program Award in 2018.
