What IS eRIA?
eRIA is the Princeton University name for the suite of electronic management systems (EMS) supporting Research Integrity and Assurance (RIA), hence eRIA, and implemented to help reduce investigator burden.
The first of these systems, eRIA-IRB, launched in July 2017, supports the IRB, the second, eRIA-IACUC launched August 2020 includes support for the IACUC, and finally, the Biosafety committee module (eRIA-IBC) will launch early in 2021.
eRIA is based on software developed by InfoEd GlobalTM and has been configured to meet the needs of Princeton University. The application provides electronic forms, customizable workflows and reporting features, and stores data in a secure database hosted onsite at the University. The InfoEd suite is used at many top academic institutions to manage their research administration needs.
